Description
The 5.8 oz. Fiberglass fabric is a loosely woven plain weave fabric, woven with E-glass fibers. The number of yarns per inch is lower than most fiberglass fabrics. This open weave design creates a highly flexible fabric that easily conforms to contoured surfaces and compound curves. A lighter weight fabric, such as our 1.4 oz. Fiberglass, is recommended with use as a surface fabric to prevent print through.
It has been sized with an epoxy and polyester compatible finish to enhance wet-out and is suitable for use in wet layup, vacuum bagging and resin infusion manufacturing.
