High Temp Vacuum Bag Connector – Locking Ring

Airtech’s Vac Valve 402A is a reusable, high temperature vacuum connector that allows a quick and reliable way to connect vacuum hoses to vacuum bags.

The four piece design of this high temperature vacuum connector allows for a tighter connection with an increase in autoclave pressure. When assembled, the base plate and silicone gasket are placed inside vacuum bag. A small slit is cut in the bag to allow the stem of the connector to pass through. The pressure plate is placed over the stem, outside the bag, and the threaded locking ring is twisted down to create a tight mechanical seal. Once tightened, controlled force is applied to the pressure plate and a solid and reliable air-tight seal is formed.

The Vac Valve 402A (VV402A-1/4) is made with lightweight aluminum and has a ¼” male NPT screw thread. Is designed to work with the quick disconnects and is suitable for vacuum bagging applications up to 500 °F (260°C).
