Description
Norplex-Micarta NP510A is a woven fiberglass fabric and brominated epoxy resin composite. This material provides consistent quality and electrical properties in dry or humid conditions. It also offers high flexural, impact and bond strengths at room temperatures. They are suitable for a variety of applications, such as terminal boards, lapping carriers and all kinds of machined parts. The natural color means it is manufactured without any tints or pigments, leaving only the natural fiberglass color.
These Fiberglass Sheets are engineered to provide NEMA grade FR-4 properties and can be safely substituted where G10 is called for. Beyond their electrical insulating properties, Fiberglass sheets exhibit great dimensional stability and superior adhesive properties. They have extremely high mechanical strength, good dielectric loss properties, good electric strength properties and excellent chemical resistance, not only at room temperature but also under humid or moist conditions.
NP510A is certifiable to MIL-I-24768/27, Type GEE-F.
